Starting the week of April 14th crews will be in the South West Region of the city picking up branches. They'd like to remind residents to have their branches placed out by the Monday of their pick up week. City is asking everyone being mindful of placing branches by utility boxes, mailboxes and fire hydrants.

The second item is starting on April 7th to May 3rd City of Springfield residents may take yard waste bags to Evan Recycling (2100 J David Jones Pkwy) free of charge. The bi weekly yard waste pick up will still run as normal. This is just another option for residents to dispose of yard waste

The last item is the 33rd annual Earth Day Fair which will be held Saturday April 26th 11am-3pm at Union Square Park (Downtown across from the ALPLM). The event is free and there will be multiple vendors and community organizations in attendance.
